Gender equality
NOVOMATIC Italia offers a multicultural working environment, with employees from 54 different nationalities, and 51 per cent of the workforce are women.
Building a respectful, fair and inclusive workplace involves taking small and large steps every day, which we are taking in a direction consistent with NOVOMATIC Italia’s values and with the conviction that diversity is a strategic driver for innovation, growth and long-term sustainability.
NOVOMATIC Italia has set out objectives and actions aimed at promoting equity and inclusion, through the publication of its first Gender Equality Policy and the appointment of a Steering Committee, which promotes and coordinates the definition, implementation, monitoring and adequacy of the actions set out in the Strategic Plan.
The Committee comprises representatives from the following departments: HR, Compliance, Corporate Responsibility and ISO Certifications.
Together with the Libellula Foundation against gender-based violence
NOVOMATIC Italia is also actively committed to combating all forms of violence and discrimination, and is a member of Fondazione Libellula, a network of companies, individuals and communities united by a shared commitment to preventing and combating gender-based violence and all forms of discrimination. In 2025, we established the role of Community Ambassador – staff members specially trained by Fondazione Libellula to act as an internal point of contact, offering a listening ear and support to colleagues experiencing difficult situations or gender-based violence. The Ambassador’s aim is to help create safer, more inclusive and welcoming workplaces, by helping to recognise and tackle discriminatory behaviour, and by promoting equality and a culture based on respect.
