NOVOMATIC Italia at IGE 2026: innovation, sustainability and strategic vision at the heart of the Group’s participation

The NOVOMATIC Italia Group will be among the key players at the upcoming edition of IGE – Italian Gaming Expo & Conference, scheduled for April 14–15, 2026 at the Salone delle Fontane in Rome, one of the most authoritative and eagerly anticipated events for the Italian gaming industry.

This third edition of IGE will address crucial topics for market evolution, in a particularly significant year for the sector. Indeed, 2026 is marked by the entry into force of new regulations related to online gaming concessions and, looking ahead, the renewal of concessions for amusement machines, bingo, and land-based betting, changes that will substantially reshape the balance and operational dynamics of the industry’s players.
On the online front, new rules aimed at strengthening traceability and digital payments in online gaming will come into force - key tools for combating illegal gambling and tax evasion, while promoting a safer and more transparent ecosystem.
Completing the picture is a growing focus on sustainability, governance, and the measurement of social impact - factors that are becoming increasingly strategic in defining the credibility and responsibility of public gaming operators.
Over the two days of IGE 2026, NOVOMATIC Italia’s top management will contribute to several strategic discussions, addressing the key issues shaping the future of the Italian gaming industry. Topics will include the traceability and security of digital payments, with a focus on strengthening control and compliance systems; the future evolution of online gaming within the new regulatory framework; and the role of data, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence in protecting information and managing risk. Significant attention will also be given to people as a driver of growth, including talent development, skills, inclusion, and employer branding policies in highly sensitive reputational contexts, alongside discussions on female leadership and women’s empowerment within the sector. There will also be insights into traditional segments of public gaming, such as bingo, as well as the strategic importance of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) sustainability, increasingly central to building a responsible, long-term-oriented industry.
On the evening of April 14, NOVOMATIC Italia will also be among the protagonists of the IGA – Italian Gaming Awards 2026. This year, the Group has been shortlisted in 12 categories, through nominations for NOVOMATIC Italia, Quigioco, and ADMIRAL Pay: an important recognition that highlights the quality of the offering, strategic vision, and responsible approach of the Group’s different entities.
