Corporate Responsibility -
On the occasion of World Heart Day, which falls on September 29, NOVOMATIC Italia is proud to announce that in the coming weeks, the installation of automatic external defibrillators (AEDs), essential tools to ensure timely intervention in case of cardiac emergencies, will be completed in our offices and in all gaming rooms. In addition to the locations in Rome, Rimini, Bolzano and Busto Arsizio, the AEDs will be present in the more than 280 ADMIRAL-branded gaming halls spread throughout Italy, which thus strengthen their role as a garrison of safety and legality on the territory, offering a service to the community, in line with the sustainable development goals of the UN 2030 Agenda. This initiative represents an important step in the company's ongoing commitment to safety and customer care, creating safe and secure environments where every person can feel protected and cared for, even in times of greatest need. The installed state-of-the-art defibrillators are easy to use and accessible to everyone, and staff have been properly trained in the use of these devices so that they can intervene promptly when needed, thus increasing the chances of saving lives. Markus Buechele, CEO of NOVOMATIC Italia: "The decision to equip all of our facilities with automatic defibrillators is consistent with our corporate vision, which places people and their safety at the center of everything we do. We firmly believe that the well-being and health of those who come into contact with our Group is a top priority, which is why we will continue to invest in initiatives that can make a difference. By installing these devices, we want to send a clear message: we are close to consumers not only in offering quality entertainment experiences, but also in providing a safe and secure environment where health and safety always come first. - continues Buechele - We hope that this gesture of ours, is only the first of many, and that other Italian operators active in Public Gaming will also espouse our initiative. There are nearly 5,000 specialized gaming halls in Italy, if each of them would equip itself with an AED we would make a truly significant gesture to enhance our role as a safety watchdog for the Territory." |
