Sanremo Games joins the NOVOMATIC Italia Group: the future of AWP game development begins at Enada 2026

Rimini, Italy – Sanremo Games, a long-established software house and producer of renowned AWP titles, has joined the NOVOMATIC Italia Group.

Leveraging its strong expertise in gaming content development, Sanremo Games will continue to deliver high-quality products, reinforcing its position as a key reference in game development.

Through this transaction, NOVOMATIC Italia, acquiring a 70% majority stak, strengthens its commitment to the land-based gaming segment while accelerating content development across digital channels, within an increasingly omnichannel strategy.

The Board of Directors of the new company will consist of CEO and founder Maurizio Pagella, Karl Plank as Chairman, and André Richard Wessling as Board Member.
