NOVOMATIC Italia has reaffirmed its leadership in Responsible Gaming by obtaining, for the second time, the prestigious G4 (Global Gambling Guidance Group) certification, the highest international standard for consumer protection and the prevention of problematic gambling.
The certification has been awarded to five companies within the Group: NOVOMATIC Italia S.p.A., the holding company; ADMIRAL Gaming Network, the network concessionaire; ALLSTAR and ALP, all renewing their certifications obtained in 2022; and HBG Entertainment, which successfully completed its first audit. These latter three companies represent the core of the Group’s retail operations, managing ADMIRAL and Le Palme by ADMIRAL branded arcades throughout Italy.
In 2022, NOVOMATIC Italia became the first company in the country to receive G4 certification for its network of gaming halls - a milestone that reflects a structured, forward-looking, and continuously evolving strategy in Responsible Entertainment.
Developed by the Global Gambling Guidance Group, the G4 program is led by independent international experts dedicated to promoting best practices in responsible gaming. The certification process involves a rigorous assessment of corporate policies, player protection systems, and internal training programs, all aligned with scientifically validated standards and globally recognized protocols.
As G4 criteria are periodically updated to reflect the latest psychological and social research, the certification includes a triennial renewal and an intermediate assessment, ensuring continuous improvement in corporate practices.
As of December 2024, 21 NOVOMATIC Group companies worldwide had achieved G4 certification - a proof of the Group’s consistent and shared international commitment to preventing gambling addiction and promoting a safe, informed, and sustainable entertainment experience.
Alongside with these values, NOVOMATIC Italia has also recently published its new ESG Report, which outlines key initiatives and achievements in the ESG domain, including advancements in responsible gaming.
