To celebrate World Heart Day, NOVOMATIC Italia renewed its commitment to health, prevention, and social responsibility by taking part in two meaningful initiatives focused on well-being and awareness: CardioRace 2025 and a First Aid awareness day.
NOVOMATIC Italia takes part in CardioRace 2025 as an official partner
From October 3rd to 5th, NOVOMATIC Italia participated in CardioRace 2025 in Rome as an official partner, alongside APay E-Wallet, the leading brand of ADMIRAL Pay.
Hosted at the Capannelle Racecourse, the CardioRace Village welcomed three days dedicated to sport, wellness, and prevention, offering free health check-ups to all attendees. The event culminated in Sunday’s race, which featured both competitive and non-competitive runs.
This year’s edition also included a special session for younger audiences: “Gioca con cautela, gioca in sicurezza” (Play Responsibly, Play Safe), held on Friday morning, which gave high school students a valuable opportunity to reflect on the importance of responsible and safe gaming.
NOVOMATIC Italia’s participation in CardioRace marks a key milestone in its stable commitment to social sustainability, promoting health and prevention as core values.
A day dedicated to First Aid
On September 29th, NOVOMATIC Italia hosted a First Aid awareness day at its Rome headquarters, open to all employees and organized with the support of volunteer doctors and nurses from the association Bea a Colori.
During the training session, participants acquired essential skills in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), practiced on high-fidelity mannequins, learned how to use semi-automatic defibrillators (AEDs), now available in all major offices and gaming halls of the Group, and trained in airway obstruction relief techniques.
The initiative supported Bea a Colori’s project “Ricoloriamo una Vita” (Let’s recolor a Life), which aims to spread emergency awareness and highlight the importance of timely intervention in critical situations.
A concrete commitment to secure and heart-safe gaming venues
Through its involvement in CardioRace and the promotion of First Aid training, NOVOMATIC Italia once again demonstrates its strong and tangible commitment to health, prevention, and overall well-being. This commitment is rooted in the promotion of responsible gaming and the prevention of Gambling Disorder (GD) and has expanded over the past two years with the installation of semi-automatic defibrillators in all 300 ADMIRAL-branded gaming halls across Italy, as well as in the Group’s main offices. This social responsibility initiative enables NOVOMATIC Italia to offer heart-protected workplaces and gaming venues, ensuring the safety and well-being of both employees and guests.
